113, Redchurch Street, Tower Hamlets E2 - Tower Hamlets

A weavers' tenement house built c1735 by William Farmer, a local builder. An early survival of a building type that once dominated Spitalfields. The building is derelict and has structural problems. It was recently braced to prevent further movement and the building is wind and watertight. Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for retail use have been granted. Repairs in progress (April 2023).
