113, Redchurch Street, Tower Hamlets E2 - Tower Hamlets
Weavers' tenement house, built circa 1735 by William Farmer, a local builder. The building is of interest as a rare and early survival of a building type that once dominated Spitalfields. The building is derelict and has structural problems. The façade has recently been braced to prevent further movement and the building is now wind and water tight. Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for retail use have been granted. Once all conditions have been discharged, work can begin on site.
