North Woolwich Station including turntable and platform lamp standards, Pier Road, North Woolwich E16 - Newham

Former railway station, 1847. Extensive works are needed to the roof, and the rear canopy has been dismantled following partial collapse. Essential remedial works were carried out around 2018/19 prior to sale. Subsequent owners submitted applications for Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for repair and conversion in connection with its current use as a place of worship. The applications were refused as the proposals were considered to harm the heritage significance of the building. Some unauthorised works have been carried out.
