North Woolwich Station including turntable and platform lamp standards, Pier Road, North Woolwich E16 - Newham

Former railway station, 1847. Extensive works are needed to the roof, and the rear canopy has been dismantled following partial collapse. Essential remedial works were carried out prior to sale of the building. New owners have submitted applications for Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for repair and conversion of the building into a place of worship. The applications have been refused as the proposals were considered to harm the heritage significance of the building.
