Early C19 stucco lodge. Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent were granted in 2012 to use the building for retail and office space, together with a new building for use as a café and car sales. A Repairs Notice was served in 2015 and these works were completed in 2017. An enforcement notice was served in 2018 in respect of hoardings around the site. Applications for Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for new buildings, and car sales/gym use were refused in 2019. A revised scheme is awaited, and discussions are in progress between the Local Authority and the owner.
