Gawton Mine complex, Bere Ferrers / Gulworthy - West Devon

Former copper and arsenic mine and processing complex, comprising a full range of buildings from cooperage to engine houses. The site has suffered damage from vehicles. Despite previous extensive clearance and emergency support works, vegetation has reclaimed extensive areas of the monument and the temporary propping is showing signs of failure. The structures remain at risk.
