Tomb of Lord Dacre, Lee Terrace, St Margaret's Old Churchyard SE13 - Lewisham

This composite urn monument to Lord Dacre dates from 1794. All the elements now lie disassembled on the ground. The monument needs urgent attention to avoid further damage or loss of its components. A condition survey has been prepared, with funding from Historic England, and funding for repair and restoration works for a number of tombs has been secured through a Section 106 agreement. The proposal is for the fragments to be collected and put in secure storage (Summer 2024).
