Tomb of Colonel Gideon Gorrequer, Harrow Road, Kensal Green Cemetery NW10 - Kensington and Chelsea

Elaborate military monument dating from 1841 to Colonel Gorrequer, ADC (aide-de-camp) to the Governor of St Helena during Napoleon's banishment. There is evidence of erosion at foundation level and architectural elements are threatened by ivy growth. Fixings have been lost from the stone plaque on the front of the pedestal. A comprehensive condition survey was produced in 2013, funded by Historic England. Works are being prioritised accordingly.
