Three Lamp Standards in front of the Star of the East Public House, Commercial Road E14 - Tower Hamlets

Three C19 lamp standards on the pavement in front of the Star of the East Public House. Cast iron decorative lanterns bearing the inn name with poor and defective paintwork. The lamps do not currently work and one lantern is missing but is being stored. Enforcement notices have been served on the owner for works which include the lamp standards. Discussions between the owner and the Local Authority are ongoing.
