One Lamp Standard in front of the Star of the East Public House, Commercial Road E14 - Tower Hamlets

One of the three C19 lamp standards on the pavement in front of the Star of the East Public House. A cast iron decorative lantern bearing the inn name with poor and defective paintwork. Two lamp standards were repaired separately in 2019 and their lanterns are now working. The Local Authority is working with the owner to secure funding to repair and reinstate the remaining lantern.
