Stone Farmhouse and attached Hop Kiln, Bromyard Road, Broadwas - Malvern Hills

C15 timber framed farmhouse which originated as a cruck framed hall house and was enlarged in the C16 and C19. There is a late C19 brick hop kiln attached on the rear gable. The building has a medieval roof and timber framing. The condition of the hop kiln roof is very bad. The house roof tiling is very bad in places. Some major work has been completed to repair and replace sections of the timber frame, reinstating a gable end. A more comprehensive repair scheme is being prepared.
