Trent Park - Enfield

Late C18 landscape park further developed in the early C20 by Sir Philip Sassoon. Developers are implementing their approved scheme for improvements to the core of the designed landscape around the mansion house. There remain significant issues in the surrounding parkland, owned and managed by the Local Authority as a country park. The Local Authority is developing a strategy to address lapsed woodland and grassland management, restore the parkland, improve the ornamental water bodies and other features, and re-establish physical and visual connections between the historic core and wider park.
