Dobson's Windmill, High Street, Burgh Le Marsh - East Lindsey

Windmill of five storeys.1813 by Oxleys of Alford, restored 1947. Wooden ogee shaped cap with moulded brick eaves, ball finials, fantail and 5 left handed patent sails. The mill suffered storm damage in early 2020 which destroyed the sails, cap and fantail. A temporary cap is in place over the top floor of the mill to minimise further deterioration. Initial repairs have been undertaken and window repairs have recently been completed. Lincolnshire County Council is engaged with key specialists and are exploring options for the design of the mill cap, sails and associated new components.
