Southam tithe barn and shelter shed, Southam Lane, Southam - Tewkesbury
Large late medieval tithe barn converted to assembly uses but now vacant. Weather boarded timber-framed walls on a high stone plinth. Artificial stone (concrete) moulded tile roof has holes. The roof truss frames have structural faults. One bay of the roof (east end) exhibits severe bowing due to failed purlins. Short term holding repairs have prevented an immediate collapse of the roof.
