Entrance gates to Hartford Hall, Hartford Bridge, West Bedlington - Northumberland (UA)
Gates made by the Coalbrookdale Company and exhibited at the Vienna Exhibition of 1873. Historic England offered grant-aid towards the repair of the gates, but that project later stalled when the then owners of the estate went into administration. The gates are now in safe temporary storage. Historic England funded an updated condition assessment in 2014, with cataloguing of all smaller elements in 2017. The second phase of conservation work is complete and all components of the gates are now catalogued and packaged to the highest curatorial standards awaiting conservation repairs.
