The Small Mansion - Gunnersbury House, Gunnersbury Park, Gunnersbury Avenue W3 - Hounslow
Built circa 1802, the smaller of two houses on the site of Gunnersbury House which was demolished circa 1801. The mansion had been deteriorating rapidly. The Local Authority, Historic England, Gunnersbury Estate 2026 Community Interest Company and other key stakeholders secured major funding, including from National Highways and Historic England, for extensive works to the roof, balustrades, windows and rainwater goods, now complete. A feasibility study tested potential future viable and sustainable uses, with public consultation planned. Further fundraising approaches are being considered.
