Air Raid Shelter, St Leonard's Court, St Leonard's Road, East Sheen SW14 - Richmond upon Thames

Air raid shelter probably built in 1938 to serve St Leonard's Court which was built in 1934-38 by local builder Mr FG Fox. It was designed to hold 48 people; at the time there were 83 flats. Locally based charity Habitats and Heritage commissioned a structural survey leading to minor works and work with the local amenity society and schools to deliver educational tours. The owners are considering the future of the building, including having discussions with Habitats & Heritage.
