Tomb of WH Kent, Harrow Road, Kensal Green Cemetery NW10 - Kensington and Chelsea
Carrara marble pedestal surmounted by a draped urn with a relief of a dog at its base, dating from 1874. The tomb is in poor condition due to erosion of its carving, deterioration of the inscription, and heavy lean of the monument towards the west. Arboreal ivy has almost obscured the monument entirely and now presents a high risk of wind damage. A comprehensive condition survey was produced in 2013, funded by Historic England. Works have been prioritised accordingly, but no funding sources have yet been identified.
