The Listed Property Show London and the National Heritage List for England

Historic England is the public body that helps people care for, enjoy and celebrate England's spectacular historic environment. We protect, champion and save the places that define who we are and where we've come from as a nation.

Part of that is listing, or protecting, places that have historic interest.

All over England, there are more than 400,000 listed places with stories to tell, from buildings to battlefields, palaces to pigsties and pubs. Their stories are being written, and they won’t be complete until you share your side.

Be part of the story

Your view of a place is as unique as you are, so every snapshot and story you can add to a list entry is helping to build a picture of England’s special places, uncovering hidden histories and revealing overlooked stories. The more pieces of the picture we have, the better we can protect what makes these places special

Your stories, your photos and memories are as special, unique and important. They give a building its warmth. It turns a house into a home.

You can add your images, thoughts and feelings to any protected building or site.

The Listed Property Show London 2023

The Listed Property Owners Club (LPOC) is an advice service for owners of listed buildings. The Listed Property Show London brings together the biggest collection of listed building suppliers and experts under one (listed!) roof.

The show is taking place at the Olympia London on Friday 3 to Saturday 4 February 2023. Why not add images to some of the listed places that surround the Olympia, and the Olympia itself? From lamp posts to parks and gardens, pubs to phone boxes, you can help protect them by sharing your photos and what you think makes them special – just add a photo or even just a single line about what you love about them.
