3-39 Ellacombe Road, Torquay, Torbay

A long terrace of 'working men's dwellings' built overlooking Ellacombe Green. They were given to the town by Sir Lawrence Palk in 1869 This was the date of his son's majority. These houses, along with others in Princes Road, form part of an exceptionally well-planned and designed group of mid 19th century workers' housing.
