Barclay School, Walkern Road, Stevenage, Hertfordshire

This school was the first co-educational (boys & girls) Secondary Modern school in the country. It was built in 1950-51 by Yorke, Rosenberg and Mardall. It was awarded the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Bronze Medal for its design.
