Barford Bridge and Causeway, Great Barford, Bedfordshire

This bridge dates from the 15th century and crosses the River Great Ouse. It was extended across the flood plain in the 17th and 18th centuries. The upper part was widened and rebuilt in red brick in 1874. It has 17 irregular pointed arches, spanning approximately 140 metres.
