Barrows alongside A303, Stonehenge, Wiltshire
A group of barrows on either side of the A303 trunk road. Road building in the Stonehenge landscape has caused damage to some prehistoric features in the past. Aerial surveys are used now before such schemes in order to avoid further problems.
