Brighowgate House, Brighowgate, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire

This building was originally a Children's Home. It was built in 1913 by William Wells of Grimsby, senior assistant to H C Scaping, for the Board of Guardians. It is an interesting and marked contrast to the earlier and more austere "Fisher Lads" Home in Victor Street.
