Cheriton Primary School, Cheriton Fitzpaine, Devon
According to a Church Commissioners' report dated 1818 the building was at that time a school and a poorhouse. It was converted to a school in the 20th century. At the right (south) end the first floor room extends over the street carried on an arcade of timber posts. This is thought to be the longest thatch roofed building in Great Britain.
