Deansgate Arcade, Manchester, Greater Manchester

An elevated view looking towards the Deansgate Arcade. The Deansgate Arcade was designed by John Brooke and contained the offices for the North of England Society for Womens Suffrage (NESWS). Established as the Manchester National Society for Womens Suffrage (MNSWS) in 1865, the Society changed its name to the NESWS in 1897. The Bedford Lemere daybook records Burmantofts as the client for this photograph.
