Derbyshire County Council Library, High Street, Dronfield, Derbyshire

This small manor house was built for Ralph Burton, Lord of the Manor, around 1700. His father Francis had purchased an earlier house on this site from Lionel Fanshawe in 1674. The house passed to the Rossington family who sold it to John Rotherham in 1750. It was sold to the local authority in the 1930s. It was converted into a library for Derbyshire County Council in 1967.
