Dressing a Millstone, Saxlingham Mill, Saxlingham Thorpe, Norfolk

The word "mill" comes from the Old English "mylen", which means to grind. Corn is ground between two stones to make flour. When being used constantly the stones need to be re-cut by a skilled stone dresser about every 2 to 3 weeks.
