Fisher Tarn Dam, New Hutton, Cumbria
Fisher Tarn Reservoir was built under the powers of the Kendal Corporation Act 1894. The engineer was George E Deacon. The dam dates back to 1896. The small machinery house beneath the dam contains machinery to open and close the sluices that control the flow of water.
