Former College of Art, Anlaby Street, Kingston Upon Hull

The former College of Art has since become part of Humberside University. It is dated 1904 and was designed by Lanchester, Steward & Rickards. It is built from red brick with bands of dressed ashlar stone in a style very typical for this period. It has a highly decorative central pedimented gable containing a mosaic portraying the Arts, designed by Alfred Garth Jones and made by the Bromsgrove Guild.
