Former hat factory, Frampton Cotterell, South Gloucestershire

This building was built as a hat factory in 1818-23. It was used as a hat factory until 1865. It was built for Christies the hatters as a result of labour troubles in London and Stockport. It is an important early and now almost unique survival in a rural setting in this area.
