Former National School, Warrington, Warrington

The National Society for Promoting the Education of the Poor supported the building of National Schools on behalf of the Anglican Church. This National School was built in 1833. It still has the signs 'boys' and 'girls' over each of the enterances, showing how pupils were educated separately
