Frank James Memorial Hospital, Adelaide Grove, East Cowes, Isle of Wight

The Frank James Memorial Home was originally built as an almshouse for aged and disabled seamen. It was then used as a cottage hospital. It is a well designed picturesque building, in a Dutch style of architecture. It was built in 1902-3 by Messrs. Arthur and William James. In January 1906 they gave the building and land with £10,000 of stock, to trustees.
