Gold Street, Northampton, Northamptonshire
Looking east along Gold Street from the junction with Horseshoe Street. The street is busy with people and various horse-drawn carts are making deliveries. The street has tramlines. The first trams in Northampton were horse drawn and started in 1881. The 3ft 6in gauge tramway ran west down Gold Street. The tram system was electrified in 1904.
