Guildhall, Exeter, Devon

View from the south of the Guildhall and High Street, with groups of people on the pavement and horse drawn carts on the road. The man on the left in the top hat looks like a travelling artist. The guildhall dates from 1468-70. It incorporates the Chapel of St George and St John The Baptist. The projecting porch and the mayor's parlour above were added in 1592-4. The building was restored in the 19th century
