Horton General Hospital, Banbury, Oxfordshire

The Horton Infirmary was built in 1869-72 to designs by C. H. Driver and instigated by Mary Ann Horton. A children's ward was added in 1897. A nurses home, designed by George Gardiner, was built in 1920. Four emergency wards and an air raid shelter were added in c1940. In 1950 the Infirmary became a General Hospital.
