John Wesley's Chapel, Broadmead, Bristol

The first Methodist meeting room in the world. It was bought by Wesley and Whitefield in 1739 and enlarged in 1748. The restricted site meant living accommodation had to be placed over the Meeting Room. Also the whole interior had to be lit by the lantern window in the roof.
