King William Statue, Kingston Upon Hull
The gilded statue of William III on a horse was designed by Scheemaker in 1734. The statue stands in the Market Place on a stone pedestal inscribed "This statue was erected in the year 1734 to the memory of King William the Third our great deliverer".
