Lake House, Wilsford Cum Lake, Wiltshire

The house was built in 1578 for George Duke, a clothier. It was restored in 1898 and in 1912 (after a fire), by a Detmar Blow. It had further additions in the 1930's. The house was also the residence of Rev. Edward Duke, archaeologist and colleague of Colt Hoare (archaeologist).
