Lichfield College and Library, The Friary, Lichfield, Staffordshire

This was originally part of a Franciscan Friary that was abandoned after the dissolution in 1538. Part of the friary was bought by Gregory Stonyng to use as his house. During the 18th century the house was also visited by the famous lexicographer and poet Samuel Johnson. It has since been used as a friary college. It is now the home of Lichfield Record Office.
