Liverpool Docks, Liverpool, Merseyside
This vertical aerial view shows part of the Liverpool docks and waterfront area. On the top right is the Albert Dock with the Canning Dock below it. The buildings on the Pier Head known recently as the '3 Graces'; the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board building, Cunard Building and Liver Building can also be seen. This area suffered heavy bomb damage during World War Two but had all been rebuilt or redeveloped when this photograph was taken in 1970.
