Marconi's First Radio Factory, Chelmsford, Essex

This was formerly listed as 'Marconi's first Radio Factory'. It was built in 1898 and was the first purpose built radio factory in the world. Marchese Guglielmo Marconi was the man who first invented the radio and received a Nobel prize for his works.
