Pears School, Repton School, Repton, Derbyshire

This block includes the memorial hall and classrooms and dates from 1883-6. It was designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield in Tudor Style. Repton School was founded in 1559 by Sir John Port. Steuart Adolphus Pears was Headmaster between 1854 and 1874 and is known as the school's "Second Founder" as he made the school into a leading public school.
