Pepys House, Brampton, Cambridgeshire

This house dates back to the late 16th century. The house is associated with the diarist Samuel Pepys. It was originally owned by Robert Pepys, elder brother of the diarist's father. On Robert Pepys's death in 1661 it passed into the possession of Pepys's father, after which it was to be inherited by Samuel Pepys. Samuel Pepys spent some years there during his childhood.
