Remains of Lydiate Hall, Lydiate, Merseyside

Lydiate Hall dates from the 15th and 16th centuries. It was the home of the Ireland family and much of the Hall dates from the 1540s when it was lived in by Lawrence and Eleanor Ireland. Part of the Hall was demolished in the 18th century. The 16th century fireplaces, chimneys and windows can still be seen.
