Ruins of Church of St Thomas A Becket, Grindon, Stockton on Tees
This church was built in the 12th century. Records show major rebuilding in 1190 by Bishop Pudsey. The church remained in use until 1848. It was abandoned and superseded by the opening of the church of the Holy Trinity at Thorpe Thewles.
