Saltcellar Net Lofts, Harbour Road, Portleven, Helston, Cornwall

Built in 1816 as a salt cellar and warehouse, this building is deep plan and built into a bank at the rear. The openings were originally shuttered, not glazed, as can be seen on openings over doorway. Like many sites in seaside towns commercial pressure has turned this building into a quaint Cornish tourist shop.
