Sheffield Bus Museum and Sheaf Transport Garage, Sheffield, South Yorkshire

This was originally the tram depot for Sheffield. It was built in 1874 and was extended in 1899. The depot housed horse drawn trams until 1899 when the route was electrified. Then the stables were demolished and the tram shed was extended to take 100 electric cars. This was the first depot in Sheffield to accommodate electric cars. It continued in use until Sheffield's tram services ended in 1960.
