Spa House, Nottington Lane, Weymouth, Dorset

This building was formerly the pump room and baths to Nottington Spa. It dates from 1830 and was designed by Robert Vining for Thomas Shore. The 1867 Kelly's Directory says of The Spa '... the waters are of that quality termed hepatic of sulphereous. The late proprietor erected a handsome Spa House... consisting of a pumproom, with warm, cold shower, and vapour baths.' The building has since become a private detached house.
