Springfield Brewery, Wolverhampton, West Midlands

This brewery was built in 1873, for William Butler, as a self-contained site with maltings, brewhouse, stables and offices. The picture shows the clock mechanism in the boiler house. Regulating the time for each process in brewing can be highly important in producing the ideal beer.
