Statue of Michael Arthur Bass, King Edward Place, Burton Upon Trent, Staffordshire
The statue is of Michael Arthur Bass, 1st Baron Burton (1837-1909). It was put up in 1911. He was the grandson of William Bass, the founder of the Bass and Co. brewery. Michael Bass had also been the Liberal MP for Stafford (1865-8), East Staffordshire (1868-85) and Burton (1885-6).
