Stone Pier, The Parade, Margate, Kent
The pier was built in 1810 -15 and curves around the harbour. It is about 900 feet long, 60 feet wide and 26 feet high. A raised promenade runs as far as the lighthouse. The original lighthouse was replaced in the 1950s.
