Swiss Cottage Museum, Osborne House, East Cowes, Isle of Wight

This swiss style building is in the grounds of Osborne House. It was built in 1862. It housed Queen Victoria's children's museum collections. These included geological specimens, stuffed animals and items obtained from foreign tours. The collections were re-arranged and numbered by the antiquarian Sir Guy Laking in 1916.
